I knew I wanted to do the observational research in a large place, somewhere busy. I wanted it to be full of people in case I found material an issue. Finding material has been the least of my problems. The local drug dealer spotted me last week and I was busy writing notes, trying to pretend I wasn't looking his way. Although I was intimidated it was great for the research and I hope he's around when I go back next Monday. I think trying to talk to him would be a stupid idea but I might be able to talk to more skaters.
